Ojon vs Aveda

Everyone who reads my blog, knows that my hair is in major repair mode as it is so damaged.

so I've got - Aveda damage remedy leave in conditioner

and - Ojon Revitalizing Moisture Mist

You put the Aveda treatment on towel dried hair it says it is instantly repairs and helps protect hair from heat styling. It detangles to protect from breakage and further damage, creating a healthier foundation to make styling easier.

You spray this on your hair before you blow dry it it says : This lightweight, liquid hairdresser with the hair-repairing power of pure Ojon™ oil, nature’s golden elixir, Blue Agave, Lemongrass and Ginseng instantly revitalizes, re-hydrates and takes out the tangles. Tames frizzy fly-away hair.

after using both for a good 2 weeks now at the same time, I prefer the Aveda leave i treatment. It leaves your hair feeling silky soft, and reduces frizz. I smother the ends of my hair in it expecting it to be heavy and make my hair appear greasy but no, It is so lightweight and wont look or feel heavy, all the ingredients are completely natural (when they are out of stock they have to wait for the plants to grow)

Don't get me wrong the Ojon mist is great but just doesn't have that much effect on my hair, I have always preferred using a cream rather than spray as I feel it moisturizes your hair allot more.

Price wise:

Aveda leave in treatment : £18.50 (100ml)

Ojon Revitalizing Moisture Mist : £20 (175ml)

So you do get more for your money with the spray, but you use allot more of it in one go, the cream only needs a small pea size amount all over your hair!

Both are fantastic, but I would go for the Aveda leave in treatment.

My birthday treat!

For my birthday - which is on Wednesday! so so exited (like I've mentioned in my blog posts recently) turning 16 makes me feel allot older than 15! My mum took me to London for a few days, to go to a spa (Chelsea Day Spa) and out for dinner, hotel and birthday shopping! absolute bliss! It was the best 2 days ever I really enjoyed it and bought some lovely things with some GREAT bargains!

We got the train down and met up with my cousin and her partner (It was her birthday on the 7th) for lunch in Belgo's (Covent Garden) that was lovely, then on to the spa in Kings Road, it was so beautiful in there the layout was so calming - I had a back, foot and arm scrub and massage, mum was meant to have the same but they got our bookings muddled up and couldn't fit her in, so they gave her a manicure and pedicure complimentary, so we've still got the other massage appointment to use!

we met up with my dad for dinner in the Hard Rock cafe, We have never been before and for those of you who are reading this have been there will surely agree with me when I say it is by far the best restaurant, the atmosphere, music, food everything! I ordered a Salad which was ginormous, mum and dad had there signature classic burger! Then... after my dad had told the waitress it was my birthday - I was on edge of what they were going to do as a woman in the corner was celebrating her 50th and had everyone sing for her! Let me tell you, mine was 10X worse! we were on a higher table near the window, I got told to stand up on my chair, and listen to everyone sing to me, after the waitress had shouted out "everyone this is Megan- it's her birthday, all sing"!! and then blow out a candle on an ice cream sundae! funny but so so embarrassing!

We stayed in a hotel in Chelsea, which was gorgeous, then the next day, me and mum shopped! Firstly in Old Spitalfields Market, where I found 2 great bargains. Yet another pair of Levi 501's in a dark grungy grey for £10!, the man had a whole rail of them, and a really cute vintage brown leather bag! for £10.
we then went to Oxford St, I got a gorgeous oversized jumper from Forever 21 only £16!! and then I found so much in Topshop, which mum got for me (ready for my birthday) Truly spoiled! :') So I cant say what I got in there as I'm not meant to know / remember! haha!
Then from h&m I got 2 sheer blouses which I have been after for , for ages now! One was £10 and the other £15 again, absolute bargain! From Urban Outfitters I bought a over sized tank top - which I can't find on the website! for £10.

After a long day shopping and a very relaxing day spa-ing we got the train home at 8, and fell asleep.
Those two days we're perfect, so ideal for my birthday! Thank you mum and dad! xxxxx

Lets play dress up!

So, on the weekend I went down to see my best friend who I do a Youtube channel with, and also who I write another Blog with, to go to one of her friends character dress up party's.

Lucky enough for me though my cousin who is now just about to turn 24, came up with the idea of me going as cat woman, immediately I said "yes, that's brilliant" rushed of to h&m to find some leggings, (preferably leather) but found in the kids section (yes, I can still fit into kids clothes and I'm 16 next week... embarrassing) some black leggings with sparkles scattered down them, Ill add some photos for you to see properly, and the plus side - they were only £3!!!

I then dug around in my wardrobe to find a lace body from topshop, perfect, and then bought myself some sparkly cat ears from the party shop and got my black heels ready!

I did my makeup like THIS you can copy it if you like :).

Chloe went as the elastic from incredible's - she looked amazing, and came up with the idea herself.. hmpph!!

mine and hers favourite part of a party is by FAR the getting ready, well and your there with some drinks in you so it's fun fun fun! But getting ready was brilliant, dressing up, spending ages on make-up and hair, we always go all out!

Just a Rant

I am SO SO SO exited! It's my birthday in 15 days, and as I will be turning 16 I can get a job, some people when they turn 16 think.. eurgh cant be bothered! But I personally cannot wait, purely because I want to get into the make up industry as quickly and as soon as possible! It would be the most amazing thing to work on a high end make up counter at 16! So I've applied for Benefit and Laura Mercier I haven't seen any more vacancies available yet, but I've got my fingers crossed.

OOTD'S : SO sorry I haven't been doing these, I've just been working on my other Blog and doing Youtube videos so Im trying to even out the balance of each blog!.

WEATHER : Is it me, or does anyone else feel summer is completely over? This weather feels like winter and It's really depressing me, I'm actually afraid of winter! I hate the cold so much and It puts my mood in such a horrible low.

Birthday: It's so soooon!! Only 15 days, I am so exited! The plan for my birthday is : Me and mum are going down to London by train, getting treatments done in the Chelsea Day spa, followed by some lunch and shopping on Kings Road were then staying at a hotel nearby with my dad who will take us out for dinner! muhaha! Then the next day me and mum are doing what we do best... shopping! :D

Well My hair up until yesterday was bleach blonde. I loved it so much, but it had been like that for ages and was in the most worst condition! So My hairdresser Sophie Who is brilliant dyed it for me, I was hoping for a dark natural blonde with dark bits in it, and so was she...

Anyway, as my hair was so porous it grabbed all the dark dye and now im a dark brown / reddy colour. Never what I or Sophie imagined, and it isn't her fault in the slightest but I really cant stay with dark hair! It's not me! So on she's said she wills sort it out for me on Friday, Sophie is the only hairdresser I trust, she's my cousins girlfriend and she's cut it perfectly. I love the style and shape, unfortunately not the colour, but I've only got until Friday to wait for that! I was thinking more so Lauren Conrad Colour / Cheryl Cole's new colour, ended up being more cheryl Cole's old colour (Not so red)

But at least its a change! haha xxx

My reveiw for the Ojon Hair products!

So I did a post a few weeks ago saying I had just got the Ojon hydratting conditioner and shampoo, the hydration spray and their damage reverse restoratie hair treatment as my hair was dead and so damaged (I think from the amount of bleach in it) I've been using the treatment paste once a week on my whole head, then every other night on my fringe and ends it has really made a difference, the frizz is still there but not as nearly as bad as it use to be, my hair looks and feels so much softer, It's a great product but wow... It stinks!

Aswell as using the Ojon conditioner I've also been using the redken extreme conditioner (it smells amazing) I got it HERE for a great price! and those three working together have made my hair grow slightly (surprisingly) and it has made it so much softer! again, the dryness and frizz has gone down a lot!

The spray, has been my saviour! it is the best conditioning / hydrating spray I have come across, just spritz it on dry hair and leave it in, It immediately adds softness!

My mum ordered me the ojon products of qvc, with 2 tubs of the treatment, and the shampoo,conditioner and spray are 250ml. I don't know what she payed for them, but it was worth it! my hair feels and looks so much nicer.... thanks mum:)

ALSO !!! I'm getting my hair done on the weekend, going back to nearer my natural colour, but darker! I'm asking for a caramel all over colour with darker bits throughout it, and I want a 'lob' (long bob) I lvoe fearne Cottons hair length! If any of you have seen any celebrities with lovely lobs, could you post a comment with the link? I really need some inspiraiton pictures :)

This is a beautiful place

Im in Switzerland at the moment, staying with my best friend at her Chalet, and it is so beautiful! the veiw from their house is amazing! they live right in the mountains!

So far we've sunbathed, been to the hot baths, went down to the town and done a little more sunbathing! And me, being silly me is already burnt! above my bikini top its pure red, ouch!

We are coming home on wednesday! its gone so fast, tommorow we're going to 'Parc Adventure' which is similar to 'Go Ape' execpt ALOT higher, and I'm petridifed of heights, when we went there last year I couldn't even do it I was so scared! haha
anyway, just wanted to update you on my life!

Short But Sweet

So Yesterday was a emotional but exiting day for me and my family! My brother was leaving to go to Honduras for a year! we had to get up at 4:30am to take him to Heathrow where we met the guy Tom was staying with (who was lovely, and got on really well with Tom) we had coffee and talked about what they will be doing (teaching english to the spanish students) when he went, ofcourse tears were rolling down all our eyes, but managed to keep it together! I will miss him so so much, infact I already do! everytime I think about it, I get a bit teary! After he jet setted of.. Me and Mum had to get to Gatwick to fly out to Switzerland! We're now here, and its gorgous! SO so hot! hello sunbathing....

Today has been a lovely day! I went to Paris' as she wanted to gain confidence with her photography and asked me if I would be happy her taking some of me, I said yes to help her, and she took some amazing photos! She has such a skill and talent with photography, give her a camera and BOOOM. There brilliant! I was surprised at how my face worked relatively well with her camera! ha I suppose its because it was the best of the best! She then Let me do her make-up and take photos of it, I dont know if you know but make up is my passion! I'm hopefully going to go to the West Thames College In London and do a make up course of theirs and carry it on with being a freelance make up artist, I am always doing different looks and practicing on friends, so when I get them photos I will put them up and show you!

My Guest Post On Scarlett's Blog

So, when I got this email from Scarlett asking me to do a :guest blog post for her I was thrilled, I felt so honored to be asked to do so, and felt I had achieved something through my blog, as Scarlett has a very successful BLOG (link to it <- there) and has around 3,500 viewers a day I was more than happy to do it for her! Next week, I'm going to Switzerland to see my best friend who has a Chalet out there, It truly is one of the most prettiest Countries I have been to, especially where she is, with all the mountains and the views, and the rock pools with natural water, yes they are amazing! So me and my mum are flying out there (Chloe's mum and mine are best friends too) so just the 4 of us, it will be lovely!

The same day we fly out my brother goes of to Honduras for a year! I can't seem to realize right now how long a year is! that's crazy, and as we get on so well it will be horrible, as well as that my oldest brother and his girlfriend are moving back to Essex when we are away, so all of a sudden it will just be me, my mum and our dogs at home.. (and my dad, but he works in London) That is such a weird thought!

So I may not be able to blog for about a week or so, as Chloe is coming back to stay with me, I may not get the chance! I will try though!

Sorry that wasn't a very exiting post, but I just wanted to let you know whats going on :)

John Freida : Go Blonder Spray

About 2 months ago, I bought this and used it about 2 - 3 times a week (I think that's more than recommended)

It defiantly does what it says on the bottle, and does lighten your hair - rapidly. The effects were great, and got rid of my roots in an instant! Its cheap, so affordable for everyone...

BUT..

I can well and truly say, it killed my hair! My hair is now in the worst condition it has ever been! It feels like

straw, and just doesn't have a nice look about it, I suppose it was obvious that was going to happen, as I was spraying bleach on my hair, a few times A week! But it has left my hair looking and feeling awful!

I suppose its good for very little use, say once every 3 weeks or something, as it wouldn't have much effect, if You looked after your hair well!

My hair however is getting back on the mend, quickly! I recently got 'Ojon' dry recovery shampoo + conditioner, the hydrating spray and two of their Restorative hair treatment tubs, It is a paste, which turns into an oil when you apply it. That hasn't arrived yet, but the shampoo, conditioner and moisture mist has, I've only used them once (I've actually got the conditioner on as I'm writing this) so I havn't had chance to do a reveiw, I will do after I get the result! (you cant buy them on the ojon website yet, but QVC frequently advertise it)

I'm really sorry about it being such a boring outfit, but hey at least it is an outfit, I did promise I would do one everyday! :D It was terribly hot today, (again, before the rain etc) and from my awful burns yesterday, I didn't feel up to dressing nicely... sorrry!!

Topshop inspired : Newspaper Nails

This is What you'll need : Surgical Spirit, Newspaper, A pale nail varnish, A bowl and a top coat.

My nails just after I filed them (sorry about terrible quality)

Cut out 10 pieces of newspaper and make sure they are bigger than your nail

Paint your nails, allow them to dry, and then dip 1 finger into the spirit and press a piece of newspaper on it for a few seconds, peel it off carefully!

I Don't know if any of you saw, but A few weeks ago on Their blog, Topshop did a post called newspaper nails showing people what one of their girls had done to her nails with pieces of newspaper and surgical spirit! It was amazing, and looked so clever, I just had to try it! I hope you found that useful, and will try it, if you don't have surgical spirit you can use any liquid that has alcohol in it! :)

I know I've only just started blogging, but to win or even being in the rankings for the competion winner would

be the most amazing thing!

I would love to be the winner as I have a passion for this, I do at least 2 posts everyday, it is early days

and like anyone else, you've got to start somewhere! I really love how blogging can

change someones life, and turn it around completely!

Blogging is something I have always had an interest in, and to be at the

front row of the Look Show would be out of this world!

It would boost my confidence in a massive way and like all the other Look Blog comp winners change my life!

I am hoping to get somewhere with my blog, and really dedicate myself to it!

I started this blog when I was in a difficult place in my life, but part of writing a blog has made me better

It made me have something to do and take my mind of everything else that was happening to me

It made me want to be healthy and happy to be able to get somewhere with it, I have only been writing it for a few months but I feel it will slowly but surely get somewhere!

some sudden reason she couldn't make it! So I came home, had some lunch and went over to

Paris' for the afternoon, went on a bike ride where we just sat in a field planning our

day to London and went in the spa, gorgeous!

Sticky Toffee Cupcakes... with my twist!

Sticky Toffee Cupcakes Recipe (from the humming bird bakery) :

180g pitted chopped dates

180 ml hot water

80g softened butter

150g soft brown sugar

2 eggs

180g plain flour (sifted)

.5 tsp baking powder

1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1 tsp vanilla essence

I'm normally really messy when I'm baking, it actually looks quite tidy :() but these are the finished masterpieces, pretty proud of them if I do say so myself! haha

Eek, every morning I was checking the post to see if it had arrived, it's not a mac one or a high end brand its from a brand called 'Fralulein" I got it from Ebay and with 96 beautiful high pigmented colours for only £9.80 its brilliant! the colours are gorgeous and have beautiful finishes
the last picture is just a few swatches from the palette of the bright colours! Its so fun to play with!

I've had a lovely, very inspirational evening tonight! saw http://twitter.com/#!/TanyaBurr at a family friends birthday! who does youtube videos and is a professional make up artist and j1mmyb0bba who has a male grooming youtube channel! They were talking to me about there profession! it is so amazing, they are both so inspirational! it was a lovely evening and has made me be so determined to do youtube make up videos, I know it will take a while to get noticed and popular (it may not) but it will get me closer to where I want to be when I leave school!

It was lovely of Tanya to mention me on her twitter, telling her followers to follow me, it was amazing in only 10 minutes my followers on my twitter had shot up!

my day.. FRIDAY

First day in about a week that I've been out for more than an hour.

I had 2 appointments this morning, first one at 10:00 , ridiculous time reallly, and the next at 11:30, I have these every 2 weeks there just basically check up's! My mum always comes with me and we usually go shopping afterwards and have lunch out! Well today was such a lovely day! We did say we didn't want to be in the city for to long, well we were wrong! ha we got back about 6!

we bought some lovely things, especially from H&M. I got, a checked shirt, dark jeans, and a maxi dress and mum got hundreds! I will do a post showing what I got next! Then I just got some make-up bits and bobs!

We had lunch in Pret a manger, our favourite, chicken salad is amazing!

And now we're home im super tired, but super happy because my eye pallete has come :D. again, ill talk about that in another post!

Today Is another lazy day, but lets be honest who doesn't love a good day at home and in the garden doing nothing , (well watching pretty little liars in my case) and eating grapes, (state the obvious ^^ )

I got home finally from being in Halfords with my mum waiting for her bike to be fixed for over an hour we resulted in seeing who could skid the furthest across the floor. I love my mum, we get on so well like that and can be so childish and don't care what people think of us. My brother and his girlfriend have gone, back to Essex ready for their holiday and its her 21st on Saturday so we did her presents, I got her 'big beautiful eyes' and the 'bad gal' benefit eyeliner, my mum got her Cath Kidston matching make - up and wash bags, and the Naked Palette tiny bit jealous.

I've watched all the episodes that have been shown of Pretty Little Liars online, in about 2 weeks I've watched 44 of them, addicted?? I do love it, but 'A' who is it? its messing with my mind, and Ezra, he's gorgeous!

My mum was at the hairdressers the other day and told me she read the Marie Clairs August issue and in it was an article about this girl who is making £60k from her blog, so she was telling me I had to get it! I've read the article and its crazy, that amount of money and publicity from her blog, which is getting bigger everyday by having 90,000 hits a month! The blog is called www.wiwt.com its brilliant, it's made me more positive about mine, and determined to write on here alot more!

So as you probably know, I love make-up and I'm always watching Tanya Burr's Make-up channel PIXI2WOO for new tutorials to copy. Yesterday I came across this great blog called .brebeauty She posts tutorials but in words, giving great description for each technique and where the product goes, and there's so many of them, : Jennifer Anniston, Lucy Hale (Aris Montgomery), Jennifer Lopez, Giada De Laurentiis, Nicki Minaj and so many more, so its so easy to get the exact look, she tells you what make-up you will need and all the precise details. As well as there being so many looks to copy there are posts which every girl would want to read, how to remove fake tan, how to look good in pictures, what foods to eat, giveaways, how to make your lipstick last and which one is best for you, there's so many! It is by far my favourite beauty blog.
I defiantly recommend you taking a look, its worth it!

My New Foundation

Me and foundations, I change them all the time. I'm always wanting a new one, and when I want one, I really go out of my way to look for a cheaper one online and check it out on my skin properly before buying.
I really wanted the Nars Sheer Glow, in Punjab , it's quite pricey £29. I bought it, then took it back moments later because I didn't really want to spend that much when I wanted so many other things.
I really liked the new Illamasqua skin base and the YSM Foundation which is from Inglot. I eventually got that one. at only £11. I think its great, from the price being so low, I wasn't expecting it to be so brilliant.

I am shade #43 and its a perfect match it gives you such a flawless finish and glides on your skin so smoothly, even with the full coverage look its light on the skin and doesn't feel like your caked. Its also easily build-able. YSM. I'll put pictures up and do a swatch in my next post.

Haven't written on here in about 9 years.... (slight sarcasm) I do have good reasons for it though...

T4 ON THE BEACH! it was the best thing I have ever been to, I loved it so so much. I went with my best friend Kenya, We stayed in a Marriott Hotel the night before which was beautiful, and did a bit of shopping in Bristol, then went out for dinner at Cafe Rouge. It was lovely! In the morning our excitement was crazy! I didn't wear what I was planning on in the end, as there was an Urban Outfitters (my favourite shop ever) Where I bought some bright blue Levi 501'S and a black sleeveless top which I had previously seen on imfancy's Blog and loved it! So strange to find it in urban outfitters when I had no idea where it was from! Back to T4, McFly were amazing, purely because I love Danny... and Far East Movement! they were by far my favourite 2! Don't know if any of you watched / went there, but Cher Lloyd, hmmm.... don't know what to think about her? I really cant decide!

I was so ill when I got home on sunday Night, My voice had gone, my throat was in a world of its own, and I had the worlds most biggest belly ache, ever! All I wanted to do the next day was sleep and watch Pretty Little Liars...I wasn't to upset I couldn't do that though, as on Monday I was going to Bobbi Brown to do work experience for a week! despite being so ridiculously ill and feeling horrible I was so exited to go! I had to wear all black which I wasnt use to! However, I did love it! I felt so smart! ha That week was amazing, Easily said the best week of work I have done! I enjoiyed it so much, I felt so honoured to work there!

That Friday evening, as soon as I had finished, Me and my Mum went down to Surrey to see our best friends, for till Wednesday! The mum's were going away till Monday and I had booked me and Chloe to go to the Mayfair Spa (which I felt I was in need for, still being so ill haha) We got the tube to Green Park on the monday, got to the spa where we felt out of place, from it being so posh and upper class! The guards at the door looked at us as if they were going to say 'need directions anywhere loves'? well it was gorgeous in there, Not only was it a great spa day, we met KELIS! (the singer - milkshake, bounce.. them songs) because when we told everyone they were like "who's Kelis?" That was mental! till wednesday me and her just did what we always do when together... laugh, eat, have fun, + shop. I love her to bits! ha, I stayed in London till saturday, where I came up with my cousins for my Brothers Leaving Party! which was last night! I can't believe he is going away for a year... in 17 days! :(

so really since 2 weeks ago, I havn't really had a day to myself to blog, to relax, to sleep properly, or to catch up on pretty little liars! ahaha! So thats exactly what I'm doing now, sitting here, writing this post, waiting for the episode to load!

In 2 days my life will be uber busy! and I'm going to blog about it all!

Friday/Saturday/Sunday, I will be In Bristol with my bestfriend going to T4 on the beach! and shopping, wow, I'm so so exited! I will take so many photos, and write all about it!

Monday = Friday, I will be doing my work experience at my fav make-up brand, Bobbi Brown! So I'll be telling you all about that, and the new techniques I will have been taught!

That weekend, (The 15th) I am going down to Surrey to see my all time best friend till Wednesday, and on the Monday we're going to the Mayfair Spa and having a lovely shopping day in London! I'm then on the Thursday going to my cousins, and going to spend a few days going out with him and seeing all his friends! I will have so much to write about!

Then the weekend of the 23rd, Its my brothers leaving party, with all his/ours closest friends, He is going to Honduras for a YEAR! seriously going to miss him! so yet another big party, There will be many photos, and many words about it!!

001. sports day today, which normally is a buzz for me, but I was only doing high jump, which I came last! #rubbishathighjump. ha! I use to be relatively good, but oh no, not anymore!

002. I love this weather, came home today and noticed how burnt I had got from being outside all day. My legs have this sudden burnt line from where my skirt was, as do my arms, And my face! well that's another story!

003. Next week! I cant wait! Bobbi brown work experience HERE I COME. Bobbi Brown is my favorite make-up brand, pretty much most of make up bag us full of it! :S I feel so privileged to have this opportunity.

004. My body, Okay I've just come out from being ill with an eating disorder, but I'm starting to get use to my body! I like it, although my legs, the tops of them, I have times when i don't like them!

005. school, only till Friday left, things can only get better.

006. I've booked for me and my best friend to go to the 'Mayfair' spa in London in 2 weeks time, Hyde park, then for a spa, then for a bit of good ol' Oxford St. shopping! To be honest, that sounds to me like the most perfect day! I'm so exited!

007. Me and my friend Paris where having lovely chats today, sitting in the sun laying on the grass! And we were talking about our blogs, (I never knew she wrote one) but it's really good! I love it! and really hopes she gains confidence from it :)

008. I am going to get alot more motivated in the summer, writing on here ALLOT more, and doing SO many Youtube make-up tutorials, and vlogs! I will have lots to write about, and share with you lovely's, so yes that's a plan! :)

009. I went to a garden party on Saturday and got so ridiculously drunk on champers, my glass was never empty! It was such a good night, and so so funny! I loved every minute... of what I can remember... oops! (some photos at the bottom)

010. I went on the most loveliest bike ride with my mum on Thursday, when i decided not to go to school, purely because there isn't any point, it was SO sunny, and I was playing in the lake with my gorgeous poodle (Dino)

011. I LOVE EVERYTHING AT THE MOMENT, AND I CANT WAIT FOR SUMMER TO PROPERLY START!

Ive been reading many blogs which really attract me with there "my week" post, it really grabs my attention. so as I didn't want to copy everything about it, I thought I would do a "my month" but I wont drag it! (I hope)
where are we?, 23rd June. This month has actually been one of the best so far. I've been back to my normal self, happy as Larry! apart from the GCSE'S which I'm sure anyone my age will be hating right now! most have finished though! so good luck to everyone!! I've had lots of things planned which I'm so excited for, my calender for next month is jammed packed! Firstly, My best friend has told me we're going to T4 on the beach for her birthday! cannot wait for! I've wanted to go for so so many years! the line up is incredible but I just hope the weather is okay, and to top it of, the night before we're going shopping in Bristol, then staying in a hotel. sounds amazing!. Also, for a business trip my year are going to Thorpe Park, standard! And then I've got work experience which is at Bobbi Brown, (my fav make-up brand) So this has all been planned in June. see why it's been a good month? I've seen my other best friend allot too in June, I hardly see her as she lives in Surrey, so that has been lovely! most importantly I'm back to my old self, I haven't been well for a long time, and I'm sure I'm back to my old self, which i cant be more happy about! i know Summers coming, so there's nothing to be upset about, ALSO heatwave for the next two weeks? LUSH. absolutely amazing!
I have had allot of work going on at school, but in a week it will all be done, exams over!. thank God! so stressful, and then on a happy note again, Geordie Shore has been making my life. I love it. slightly addicted? whoops. June, has been a happy, feel good month, and I cant wait for July. Bring on summer!

the asos one, i did actually order some things of, (for my work experience, which I'm SO exited for) i have to wear all black, and i have hardly any black clothes, so thought it would be the perfect opportunity to invest!
(with mums money) ha!
h&m, ooh i ordered a lovely long leopard print maxi dress from there + i got 30% of because it was my first order!! BONUS! it was originally £12.99, i got it for £6.50, bargain! but when it came i had ordered the 8. so it was way to long, and a bit too baggy! so i thought now the Topshop sale has started i might as well return the h&m dress, and use the money from it for something in topshop as I'm always drawling after their clothes! me and my brothers girlfriend are going to go on a lovely shopping spree on Saturday, (what we do best) to spend spend spend... no money. although I have been selling things on eBay, old Abercrombie clothes which like a typical 12 year old, i use to be obsessed with. not anymore! so really this how post has been about me wanting to buy SO much for summer, but really should be saving... for Bristol and T4 on the beach. which i will do a post about including everything else that is going on in my life:)
but look at those shops sales. they are worth it!.

so, i casually went to thailand for 2 weeks.. what?. yeah it was amazing, thats the reason i havn't blogged for a while now. i meant to when i was away, but to be honest i was having to much fun to do so.
anyway. I went with my family on the 4th april , had to leave at like 4am. which i LOVE doing, getting up early for planes is just the most exiting thing :''). 10 hour flight though, wasn't nessasery. we went to Bangkok first, stayed there for 4 days then went to koh samui for 1 week which i was pooing my self about seeing as they have just had awful floods out there (feel so sorry for people who were involved in them) but when we arrived there it was pure paradise. we then went on to koh phangan which was a-maaazing. blue clear sea, hot hot white sand everything you picture paradise as being. the sea was so warm and calm you could lie in it till late late late and not even get slightly cold.
bangkok - stayed in Bel Aire Princess hotel (love the name) and it was in the city, had a pool on the roof... standard?!. and about 9 million massage shops opposite, which none of us were complaining about. on the first night we went to this wicked restaurant called 'cabbages and condoms' and everything (literally) was made out of condoms. and instead of mints when you got the bill, yep it was condoms! possibly the most hilarious place ive ever been to!. we did the temples on one of the days which was lovely but SO SO hot. and another day we did Koh San Road which was fab!!!!. cheap things, great life. loved it!.
Koh samui everyday we pretty much sunbathed and laid by the pool/beach. and we were in Chaweng staying at Centara Grand Beach Resort, where we got treated like royalty. not even kidding! and there was loads of cute little stallas/shops all down the road (high street) so we were in the perfect place for good nightlife and shopping. We rode elephants on one of the days we were there. which was the most amazing experience and we were there during Sonkran which is there new year, and they celebrate it with water. so for 2 evenings it was a MASSIVE water fight and so so funny. got so wet and some how ended up in a lesbian bar?!?! hahaha.
and koh phangan we stayed in the haad san resort, which was nice but centara was nicer! the destination here was nicer though, so put centara on this location and OOOMMMMGGG i would have been in absolute Heaven. We went to the other part of the island on one day and found this ruined run down little island of one of the beaches, we adopted it as ours. ;)

General rant!

1. So recently as I'm SURE your all aware, the weather has been so so nice, its felt like summer! the smell of freshness in the morning and not frostiness is gorgeous, and being able to go out without wrapping up in tuns of layers, and looking just bulky is brilliant! also, with the weather being warmer, I'm always in a better mood, i hope it stays this way, and doesn't rain, but then again I'm going away to Thailand next Monday for 2 weeks, so I wont be complaining!!!!! very very exiting. We've never been away somewhere like this as a family, but our cousins have and they've said so so much about it, so if any of you have been there and know some good places to go, comments would be much appreciated!

2. Topshop, well they've just started a 'flash sale' and the prices are brilliant! defiantly go on there website or to one of the stores because really don't want to miss out on this, i want some of the boxed blouse's just because they look so simple but yet so pretty on, and would be great to just chuck on, on holiday!

3. ill. eurgh. I've had the worst headache/soar throat/ aches and pains recently oh and a blocked up nose, its horrible and I cant seem to shift it!, taking about 900 medicines a day and sleeping hours on end, i just hope it goes before next Monday

4. last week for me and my family was horrible. we had a loss of one of our family members, and I had recently been to the doctors myself and heard some bad news, so all of us haven't been in the lightest of moods, but we are coping, and today its my dad's 50th, so we're doing something nice later, and knowing that we're going away in 10 days is just perfect, gives us the right amount of time to cope with everything that's happened.

I' keep meaning to do more blogging and YouTube vids' but I just never know what to do them on, So many people are great at blogging and doing videos', clearly a skill which I don't have! ha, so I'm determined to do more, IN FACT... for lent as i didn't give up anything, I'm going to give up not doing blogs? so that means i have to blog more , I think.
but anyway that's my little rant,

LIPSTICKS.... which to choose?

Bright lips tend to be in for this season and I'm not complaining in the slightest,

My favourite at the moment is easily the YSL rouge pur couture the colour well its just a-m-aaazing! so bright and just brings so much attention to your lips, its quite pricey £22.50, but Debenhams have got 20% off all beauty products! so its a bit cheaper, I keep
debating whether
to buy it or not, seeing as the Mac ones are £12.50 and I do also love their Girl about Town
so its a tricky choice,
the packaging is defiantly more beautiful on the YSL one, and just looks that little bit more
expensive,
To be Honest
I love all the YSL spring look 11' products, all the bright pinks are beautiful, and with debenhams
doing a offer,
I think i may go for that one, I'll let you know which one I decide on!!

London!!!!

Had such a brilliant day, as you would probably know if you follow me on twitter. I went to London with my mum for some good old retail therapy! and it was just such a funny day.

WELL... started out pretty frantic, we were catching the train at what we thought was 08:57, but half way to the station we realised the train was 08:47 and we were stuck in traffic, OH GOD, by this time is was about 08:40 panic panic panic!!! we got to the station as the train was arriving, had to find some money to put into car park machine, run across to the other side of the platform and i was shouting "come on mum" literally the most craziest time to get on a train...ever! but we managed it, after pleading the guy at the door to hold it for only 2 more seconds till mum got on! Then the coffee machine was out of order, so no cappuccino for us! We did finally have a nice table seat and drinks though, so turned out absolutely fine! We went to westfield first, and had lunch there at YO Sushi! which was possibly the funniest lunch we've had ever, just the whole idea and atmosphere of it, the little bows going round on a conveyor belt and picking just what you think looks nice, then ending up with about 900 bowls at the end!! HA. we then went to Oxford street, and walked our way down from Marble Arch, spending lots of money!!! woo. stopped for a coffee and a cookie in our fav, pret! and more shopping! At about 7pm, we met up with my dad for dinner, in old spitalfields market, \and went to las-iguanas which is a gorgeous Latin restaurant, we had tapas and yummy cocktails!! We finally got home around 11, so so knackered! but defiantly had the best day in a long long time, cant wait to go again with my mum!

Weekly portrait

So this week its been half term, and defiantly a well needed one!
Monday : I met up with 2 of my best friends from my old school who I haven't seen for such a long time, so it was just amazing to see them again! planned to go shopping but ended up spending the whole day in wagamama's where i had the amazing grilled chicken noodle, just the right size and so filling I would have taken a quick snap but my camera had decided not to work! and then sat in Starbucks for hours, tall skinny cappuccino and a ginger snap biscuit, just heaven really!

on Tuesday+Wednesday I had tuns of revision to do, which has to be said was the biggest chore of my life!, whats even the point in exams?!?! I also went to my friend Kenya's for the day where we just watched movies!, so productive!

Today, had a morning of yet again revision and then went to Mad hatters vintage tea shop in Diva, which is just the cutest little tea room ever here's a few snaps from meggymoos website I'll get some of my own next time I go, as its just such a lovely feel good place! Had a lovely jacket potato with tuna... mmm! and back home to chill. simples.

tomorrow, well I always love Fridays, firstly - last day of the week, and Its always a lovely day spent with my mum!, we're going to the cinema to see kings speech, late I know, but every time we've wanted to see it , the timings haven't been right! so hopefully it will be worth it!

So that's been my week, pretty simple but I've enjoyed it, On Monday I'm of to London with my mum to shop shop shop! so I'll make sure to get lots of lovely pictures of our day, and write all about it!

My little Topshop wishlist

^^^^ HUGE CRUSH for these items from Topshop,
especially the bag I think the price is brill for Topshop, and its a lush size, it fits my camera,purse,phone and bits of make up in, and the colour just makes it look more expensive in my eyes.

The blue and white shirt is to die for, I haven't actually seen it in the shop, only on the website I would normally order it but I'm going to London next Wednesday and the Topshop on oxford street will clearly have one so ill be able to get the right size, I can picture it looking so cute with black high waisted shorts and mustard high knee socks.

the blouse would look great with a nude lipstick and little shorts or skinny jeans, and gladiators, god it reminds me of summer, and i cant wait for that!!!

now the shorts Ive wanted these for so long, but every time I've been into Topshop to get a pair they haven't got my size!! i don't know why i love them, but i do there so cute and would go with just about anything! they are quite pricey though, but hey every ones allowed to splash out

So I really need to change, my life recently hasn't been brilliant, things have been turned upside down, and now i feel its change time, so with 2 weeks of school I feel I'll be able to achieve it, I'm going to attempt to do a picture blog, or a wish list one everyday, and a YouTube make up tutorial subscribe!!, probably wont happen, but hey I'll try! A different lifestyle is sounding perfect to me, and I really want to be able to achieve it.

I love peter pan collared dress' so much I recently bought one from topshop its called 'long sleeved vintage floral tunic' its not on their website anymore but its this *** and I've worn it with tights, and even though its still freezing outside, tucked into high waisted denim shorts!
But one I really love is this one Its just so cute, and a perfect length, goes with almost every sort of coloured cardigan, especially a cream chunky one, also for topshop I don't think its too expensive, pretty good in my eyes! So that's defiantly on the wish list!
So yeah, that's just one thing I'm hugely loving from topshop!

charity shops!

I've never really gone in them before, as they never really appealed to me, but today me and my mum went to a small town to have some lunch and we saw a charity shop which looked quite good, so ended up leaving with such a nice mustard - over sized cardigan, a little black velvet make-up bag/ clutch and a mustard shirt, which i may cut or leave it depends how it looks on, but all together was something like £10. My new favourite place!!! Well not quite!, I'll post some pictures up of the ones I bought, and will defiantly start doing "outfits of the day"

But yeah, charity shops although many people think and I especially do, its a bit 'rank' to wear old clothes where you don't know who's worn them, but hey, we call it vintage!!!

So this is my first 'real' post, and if I'm honest I don't really know what to write, but I'm going to start with my day, its been a real good one actually, I didn't go to school today because I had to appointments i had to go to so there was just no point... (not complaining)

In the city with Mum : I've been watching quite allot of hauls lately and realised how much nice stuff Primark have got in, especially bags and cardigans! all the chunky thick ones and the little tan briefcase shaped bags!, which are just so cute, well I couldn't find any of them so I just got a belt, WE'RE HUNGRY!! so we thought going to pret (one of the faves) would be quite quiet as its a school day, HA, we were so wrong possible the most stress full lunch in pret I've had! the Que was about 9 miles long (not literally) and just so many people, + we couldn't decide what to get, we shared a wrap and a baguette, lush! then we went to sit down, decided nooo not here, and it happened again, and again, then we looked around and almost all the seats were gone so we ended up where we were in the first place! what idiots! did make us laugh though!, we did a bit more shopping, well 'browsing' as we actually didn't buy anything! That's been the main parts of my day, and now I'm home.
